Hello Mr. Ivancevic,
Looking for the roots of our grandmothers family name, we found you. It seems that we have more in common than just the name, we also have an apartment in Beograd, and a house on you're neighbour island Mljet, thou we live in Spain.
I would like to kindly ask you if you have any more information about the roots of Ivancevic?

Sorry, but I just got to read your message. (I don't check my blogs as often as I should).
As for the IVANCEVIC family name, you should know that there re quite a few family names IVANCEVIC in Dalmatia, Montenegor, and parts of Herzegovina. Some say that my branch comes from Herzegovina to the island of Korcula. The family house in Korcula is about 800 years old ( so this just might give you a vague idea of how old the family is).
